OBJECTIVE
To promote and scale up eco-friendly practices in agriculture; to restore degraded lands; and to minimize the impact of civil war on people and the environment.
GEOGRAPHIC COVERAGE
Liberia and Sierra Leone.
FOCUS AREA
The foundation is operative in the following sectors: conservation; forestry and agro-forestry; renewable energy; community development; income generation; and post conflict.
Among the activities implemented that are relevant to climate change and sustainable development are the Environmental Forum for Action; the Renewable Energy Programme; and the Food Security and Economic Development project.
