We would like to kindly remind Parties and other reporting entities that, for the current reporting exercise, the deadline was extended to 15 October 2012. Reports can still be uploaded on the PRAIS portal any time after that date, however, they would not be included in the preliminary analysis documentation that the Secretariat and the Global Mechanism are requested to prepare for the forthcoming session of the Committee for the Review of the Implementation of the Convention (CRIC).
In this regard, the Secretariat has made available the following resources to help you in completing your reporting exercise successfully and in a timely manner:
a) Templates and reporting guidelines: revised templates are available in the six UN languages together with a reporting manual and an updated glossary of terms for reporting;
b) The PRAIS portal: the UNCCD online reporting tool includes several functional upgrades that will make your reporting task easier. We would like to invite you to check these out and upload your data and information into the PRAIS portal;
c) Helpdesk services: in case of technical and/or substantive queries relating to the reporting process, the Secretariat has set up a helpdesk. We strive to address any queries you may have within 48 hours.
The Secretariat and the Global Mechanism remain available to assist Parties and other entities participating in this reporting exercise, and to address any questions they may have.
